Ways to Cook Lobster
How to Cook Lobster
The lobster is an invertebrate found throughout the world. Lobsters are important to the seafood industry, which nets 1.8 billion dollars worth of lobsters annually. Lobsters were considered peasant food for many years in America until people developed a taste for it, whilst the consumption of lobster in Europe was reserved primarily for royal and aristocratic families.
Types of Lobster
There are several different types of lobsters in the world. The lobster that most Americans think of when they hear the word “lobster” are the clawed variety. But there are also spiny lobsters, slipper lobsters, reef lobsters, and squat lobsters. The clawed lobster or Maine lobsters' closest living relative may be the crayfish, which is a freshwater crustacean that looks like a small lobster. All of these crustaceans or decapods can and are frequently consumed.
Cooking Lobster
Lobster is a very versatile seafood in the kitchen. It can be broiled, steamed, boiled, fried, and baked. I have even eaten deep-fried lobster, and it was good. You almost always see lobster served with butter, and it is tasty that way. But it is not the only sauce we can serve with lobster. After all, we are not children. There have been numerous studies conducted on whether or not a lobster can feel pain. I don't know why; it's a moot point. Whether animals feel pain or not is irrelevant. We are still going to kill them and eat them.
